LuLu
February 25, 2009 - We are sad to report that we have lost our dear Lil Lulu today due to post surgery complications for her double ear ablasion surgery yesterday, please consider donating to her memorial fund.
PLEASE HELP LULU WHO NEEDS A SURGERY
After 6 months of medicating and ear cleaning it has been determined that our Lil Lulu needs to have ear ablations that will cost $1,500.
Due to years of neglect of constant ear infections x-rays show that her ear canal cartilage has calcified and has turned into bone that is blocking her canals and bolus thus leaving us no choice but to have the surgery done, it is her only way to get back her ears and be pain free. Lil Lulu is such a great girl and truly worth it, please consider donating to her surgery fund.
LuLu was almost dropped off at the shelter. Her family was going to drop her off there. The shelter staff recognized that she needed more care than they could easily provide so they called CBRR. We are very happy to have this girl as part of our family and look forward to getting her healthy again so she can have her own new forever family. She was flea ridden, her ears were swollen shut with pus oozing out of them. She has a mass on her eyelid and interdigital cysts that will need to be surgically removed so she can walk without pain. Her tail is also very raw from lack of care. Please read her blog for more details and for updates on her progress.
LuLu is not yet available for adoption and is currently in foster care. Please consider donating to help with her medical care.
When she is ready she will not be shipped anywhere, please don't ask. Please have a current application on file before you contact us. Adoption fee will apply. Contact Kodie for additional information.
