Chloe
Approximately 3 ½ - 4 years ago my family adopted Chloe. Sometime after we adopted her we discovered she had breast cancer. She underwent surgery and the doctor indicated it was too massive and they weren’t sure if they got it all. They didn’t expect her to live very long. However, she was stubborn and even though there were times she had to be hand feed she didn’t give up. She grew two more large tumors and they began to bleed. She was having a hard time moving and getting comfortable. So we had to make a decision, we didn’t want her quality of life to be something we wouldn’t want ourselves. Tthis Friday we had to send her to be with Jesus. We miss her a bunch, she was a great asset to our family. Life will not be the same without her.
I wanted to let you know that she was one of your great success stories. The last few years of her life she was spoiled and loved, and we look forward to seeing her again.
Thanks for your being there for these dogs. You are the first line for them. We hope to someday adopt another but right now we will need to wait.
